Musical instrument,Antique drums,Vintage fife and drum,"Antique drum",vintage drum,Ancient style "snare drum" handmade by Clayton Holmes Chester CT. Dated inside 2 March 1937. The drum was made for John Francis a member of the Chester Connecticut Drum Corps and used by him until the late forties. It was obtained from Olive Francis Redfield of Essex CT in 1955. Measures 18 and one half inches high by 17 and three quarters wide. Excellent condition. PLEASE click on the other views to obtain pictures of the interior scene inside the peep hole.

Antique music box,"music box" period antique Victorian disc music box named Polyphon c1900. The box is made from a beautiful fruitwood with detailed inlay. This disc music box measures 18 inches deep by 21 inches wide and 9 and one half inches high. Antique disc music boxes are extremely hard to find. This music box has a single comb and takes a 15 1/ inch disc record. We have a large collection of 30 original metal disc records that go with it.This music box has been in the same family for over 35 years.

Original Civil War drums are very hard to come by. This drum came to us from a local estate. The Drum is a wonderful read color and the eagle painting is not worn.
